Photographic printing
 |
In recent years, digital printing has reached outstanding levels, with results almost comparable to traditional photographic printing.
However, for those who wish to print at ultra-high definition and quality, Eurocolor Torino offers the most advanced technology for printing on photographic paper: with photographic printing, colours are at maximum quality and print is at the highest definition possible. |
Colours do not fade over time and they maintain their characteristics, as the paper is developed with a chemical process and not simply printed on the surface. It is the best choice for those who wish to obtain the best from their images, for art shows, artists, photographers, museums and art galleries, as well as companies and individuals who wish to decorate their interiors with quality prints.
Eurocolor Torino provides quality prints in short times, thanks to our highly qualified staff that are always at your service for colour correction of your images and to carry out any proofs.
The main differences between digital printing and photographic printing:
Digital printing
Print media: any media type (paper, cardboard, PVC, Plexiglas, canvas, fabric, glass, crystal, wood, aluminium, etc.)
Printing method: plotting or inkjet printing (the colour is deposited on the surface)
Print quality: very good (the difference with photographic printing can only be seen up close)
Print size: virtually any size (large prints can be printed in modules that combine and overlap during assembly)
Advantages and disadvantages: digital printing is suitable for extra-large formats (at a certain distance the difference with photographic printing is not noticed) and especially recommended outdoors (printable on weather-resistant media). |

Photographic printing
Print media: photo paper
Printing method: photographic paper is exposed by a laser and developed in a chemical bath within the developing machine (thus not only printed on the surface).
Print quality: excellent (print quality is perfect and at the highest definition possible, even up close)
Print size: compared to traditional photographic printing, Eurocolor Torino is capable of printing in much larger formats: we print on photographic paper in rolls 127 cm in height, with no limits to print length.
Advantages and disadvantages: recommended for high-quality prints with maximum colour quality and excellent print definition, suitable for indoor use. Colours do not fade over time and they maintain their characteristics, as the paper is developed with a chemical process and not simply printed on the surface. |
